Mr. Muslimul Haq – Chairman & Managing Director

Mr Muslimul Haq, is a qualified and professional banker with more than 40 years of international banking experience. Mr Muslimul Haq held various key positions in his long banking career as CEO for Habib Bank, Kabul from 2003 to 2005 and associated with First Micro Finance Bank, Kabul as CEO from 2005 to 2009 and recently retired on his superannuation from First Micro Finance Bank. During his tenure in Afghanistan for a period of 6 years, he played key role with a constructive contribution for establishing sound banking system in Afghanistan in the capacity of Chairman for Afghanistan Bankers Association. Mr Muslimul Haq, based on his qualification and experience, had been elected by the share holders of the bank and inducted to the Board of Supervisors as an outsider of share holders to hold the position as member of Board of Supervisors for supervising the affairs of the bank in strict compliance of the Banking laws & regulations of Da Afghanistan Bank.

Dr. Fraidoon Noorzad - Director

Dr.Fraidoon Noorzad, a professional banker himself along with other promoters, having experience in banking and financial fields with sound financial background, established Maiwand . Bank on sound fundamentals and strong principles to make Maiwand Bank as one of the strongest commercial banks of Afghanistan with an aim to serve the nation by playing a constructive role in contributing to the economic reconstruction process of the country with a strong commitment.

Dr. Ferozuddin Feroz - Member

Dr. Ferozuddin Feroz, an Afghan national, is a qualified and well experienced in the field of medicine. He had held various prestigious positions in the Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan includes as a technical Deputy Minister of Health from Jan 2002 to Dec 2004 and also associated with the World Bank, Afghanistan on various projects. Dr. Ferozuddin Feroz had been elected by the share holders of the bank and inducted to the Board of Supervisors as an outsider of share holders to hold the position as member of Board of Supervisors for supervising the affairs of the bank in strict compliance of the Banking laws & regulations of Da Afghanistan Bank.

Mr. Mohomed Ismail - Member

Mr Mohomed Ismail, is a qualified and professional banker with more than 40 years of international banking experience. Mr Ismail held various key positions in his long banking career as COO for First Micro Finance Bank, Kabul from 2004 to 2010 and recently retired from First Micro Finance Bank. During his tenure in Afghanistan for a period of 6 years, he played key role with a constructive contribution for establishing sound banking system in Afghanistan in general and for First Micro Finance Bank in particular. Mr Ismail, based on his qualification and experience, had been elected by the share holders of the bank and inducted to the Board of Supervisors as an outsider of share holders to hold the position as member of Board of Supervisors for supervising the affairs of the bank in strict compliance of the Banking laws & regulations of Da Afghanistan Bank. Mr Ismail has replaced Mr Muslimul Haq our Ex Member of Board.

Eng Allauddin – Member (Share Holder’s Representation).

Eng Allauddin had been elected by the share holders of the bank during AGM of shareholders held on 14.05.2011 as a Share Holder’s representative and inducted to the Board of Supervisors to hold the above position in the Board of Supervisors for supervising the affairs of the bank in strict compliance of the Banking laws & regulations of Da Afghanistan Bank
